Floella Miller

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS– Floella Ruth Miller, 84, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Valley Manor, Excelsior Springs, Missouri.

She was born June 19, 1927 at Hattiesville, Arkansas, the daughter of Clarence Lester and Daisy Dean Carlon Whitworth. She was a professional Seamstress and a Grocery Clerk. She moved to the Kansas City area from Cimarron in February of 2007.

On August 29, 1981 she married John W. Miller at Ingalls. He Survives.

Other survivors include: her son, Charles Robert Daniel, Laurie, Missouri; her daughter, Janine O’Brien and husband Chris, Western Austrailia; step children Marty Waller and husband Al, Branson, Missouri, Dave Miller and wife Ann, Delphos, Kansas, Wendel Miller and wife Pat, Smithville, Missouri, Judy Miles and husband Stan, Princeton, Indiana; 2 sisters, Thomasine Ray, Jonesboro, Arkansas and Euleta “Skeet” Hewes, Dodge City; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Thomas Daniel; 2 husbands, Charles Robert "Bob" Daniel Sr. and Silas Davis, Jr.; 2 brothers, Carlon and Charles Whitworth.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Monday March 19, 2012 at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Cimarron with Gary L. Bennett presiding. Friends may call from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm Sunday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Cimarron Cemetery, Cimarron.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimers Research in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 446, Cimarron, Kansas, 67835.
