DODGE CITY- Steven Earl Kellogg, 66, was born July 17, 1945, in Dodge City, Kansas to Everett and Dorothy Aton Kellogg. He passed away on March 15, 2012 at Trinity Manor, Dodge City.
He grew up in Jetmore, Kansas and graduated from Jetmore High School in 1963. On January 26, 1968 he married Ruby Clanton and they started their life together in Jetmore. There marriage was blessed with a son DeLane.
Steve was a veteran serving in the United States Navy and after his discharge he began working for Hodgeman County roads and Gray County as a Special Night Deputy.
Survivors include his wife Ruby of the home; son DeLane Kellogg and wife Clella of Jones, Oklahoma; sister, Veanna Rousseau and husband James of Auburn, Kansas; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Memorial graveside service will be 2:00 pm Monday, March 19, 2012 at Kansas Verterans Cemetery, Ft. Dodge, Kansas, with Rev. Siah Edwards presiding. There will be a book signing from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday at Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will be in Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Ft. Dodge.
