Imogene May Laudick passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born November 14, 1929, in Oklahoma City, OK. Imogene was raised by her mother, Leona, in Fairview, OK where she was a high school athlete, Homecoming Queen and played saxophone in the band. Her love for music took her to Northwestern State College in Alva, Oklahoma where playing saxophone would lead her to her husband of 62 years, Vince Laudick.

Together they would live in Deerfield, Parsons, and Dodge City where they would raise 6 children. Imogene worked for Ferguson Oil, Woolworth’s, and Saint Mary of the Plains College where she worked in the school cafeteria while Vince worked in administration. After retiring, the Laudick’s moved to Phoenix and recently moved to Albuquerque, NM.

Imogene was passionate about her faith and her family. She was always first to care for her husband, and one who would never miss watching and instructing her children and grandchildren in their many activities and sporting events.

Imogene is survived by her husband and her six children: Tom Laudick of Grand Ledge, MI, Victoria Hosty, Bedford, TX, Tim Laudick of Rifle, CO, Ted Laudick and Tony Laudick from Parker, CO, and Terry Laudick of Albuquerque, NM. She also is survived by her loving son-in-law and daughters-in-law, 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her only brother, Ronaldine.

Vigil service and rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Wednesday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 901 Central, Dodge City, with Fr. Ted A. Skalsky presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Tuesday at Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral Chapel. Burial following at Kansas Veteran’s Cemetery, Fort Dodge.

Imogene always wanted to support her church’s building fund. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 32648 N. Cave Creek Road, Cave Creek, AZ 85331.
