DODGE CITY- Leroy Franklin Padget, 99, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Center.

Leroy was born November 4, 1912 to Alva and Susie Trimpa Padget in Ford, Kansas. He married Zella Reinert on December 25, 1943 in Dodge City. Zella preceded him in death in 1958.

In 1974 he retired after 31 years of working for Coca-Cola.

Survivors include his son, Greg Padget, Hays, Kansas; 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Allen Padget; two sisters, Gladys Fulton and Nellie Winger; and a brother, Clifford Padget.

Graveside memorial service will be 10:00am Thursday May 17, 2012 at the Ford Cemetery, with Rev. Dick Robbins presiding. There will be a book signing from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Wednesday at Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14 th Avenue, Dodge City Kansas 67801. There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.
